Flavia Tata Nardini is the co-founder and CEO of Fleet Space Technologies, an Adelaide-based space company focused on connecting the Internet of Things using low-cost nanosatellites.
She was educated in Italy and has a background in aerospace engineering, having worked as a propulsion test engineer at the European Space Agency and on advanced space propulsion projects at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research.
Tata also co-founded LaunchBox, an organization that taught kids how to build 3D nanosatellites and launched them into the stratosphere.
In 2015, she co-founded Fleet Space Technologies, which has launched four of the over 100 nanosatellites it plans to deploy.
Tata has achieved two patents and has a Masters Degree in Space Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
