Leonie is a China-Educated Strategist, a Business Consultant, Internationally Published Author, Workshop Presenter, and Keynote Speaker.  

She lived in the Greater China Region for several years, learning Mandarin and immersed herself in Chinese culture. During her time in China, she noticed a trend that all Chinese people have, at their core, Knowledge of the timeless Chinese Negotiating Strategies, known as the 36 Chinese Strategies, derived from Sun Tzu's – The Art of War, that she became obsessed with them and decided to build a career around helping people understand them. 

She states that "These Strategies are fundamental concepts within Chinese culture and manifest themselves in all aspects of Chinese business negotiation and everyday life." 

Leonie has worked with hundreds of business people and has also written six books to help people understand how to use the 36 Strategies in any business environment. 

In this episode,  Leonie and I touch on her journey to today, from backpacking all over the world to spending years living and working in Asia and how she came to become an expert in the art of doing business with China, and she shares her learnings with some great tips on where to start.
