The Challenge
Prior to partnering with SynergyIQ, Helping Hand had engaged their own internal Change Managers to lead the transformation. While well-intentioned, the setup proved to be a mismatch for the scale and complexity of the project at hand. Momentum was stalling, and leadership teams were operating in silos, each with differing interpretations of the project’s goals and priorities. This misalignment, coupled with mounting change fatigue from previous system rollouts, left Helping Hand struggling to gain traction. With a fixed 1 July 2025 deadline fast approaching, Helping Hand needed clarity, alignment, and a fresh approach fast.
From Stalled to Steady
The SynerygyIQ team acted swiftly to recalibrate the path forward. Through a series of our focused Enable and Design workshops, we created space for open and honest dialogue—surfacing misalignments, unpacking reform impacts from multiple perspectives, and building a shared understanding of what was changing and why. In just under 3 weeks, Helping Hand was re-equipped and re-energised with a clearer path forward to confidently navigate Aged Care reforms and a new system on 1 July 25.
Reframe Change
Prior to the project workshops, Helping Hand leaders had experienced SynergyIQ's Reframe Change™, where leaders gained practical tools and shared language needed to lead change with clarity. The “street corner” metaphor became a catalyst for alignment and cross-functional communication, enabling leaders to articulate how they understood the change, identify blind spots, and make sense of what lay ahead.
